Hire Agreement for the use of our play equipment.

It is the responsibility of the person who is hiring any play item or other equipment from Dancing Cubs Ltd and any companies affiliated with it to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury to any person(s) or any damage to our play equipment. We will not accept responsibility for any injury that occurs to any persons or any damage to any of our equipment whilst it is in your care or possession.

If the Hirer is in any doubt as to the meaning of the above or following, a representative from Dancing Cubs should be immediately consulted (Contact details above). Making a payment signifies an acceptance of this hire agreement and all its clauses.

The hirer shall be deemed to have inspected the play equipment and all accessories that accompany them and to have agreed that it is supplied in good, clean condition unless he/she brings it to our attention when it is set up.

THE HIRE PERIOD unless otherwise agreed is anytime between the hours of 10 am and 7 pm, pre agreed by Dancing Cubs. Any obstruction by the hirer or their guests causing unnecessary delay will be charged at £35 per hour or part of; this also applies where ball pond balls are not cleaned, bagged and ready for collection.

The Hirer will, during the period of the hiring and before collection by a Dancing Cubs staff member, be responsible for the supervision of the equipment, its care, safety from damage however slight, and of any sort, and the behaviour of all persons of all ages using the equipment whatever their capacity, including proper supervision of children to ensure that children use the play equipment responsibly.

Provided that the equipment is used in accordance with the guidelines and conditions of hire in this agreement, those using any of our play equipment should do so safely however, accidents can happen. Dancing Cubs can accept no liability for injuries sustained or any other loss, however caused. As the equipment will be in the hirer’s possession, care and control whilst in use rather than Dancing Cubs, any liability for injuries or other losses caused rests solely with the hirer. Accordingly, it is strongly recommended that the hirer has adequate public liability insurance cover.


If you need to cancel the booking due to poor weather please call us as soon as possible. You will not be charged a cancellation fee for bookings cancelled due to poor weather.

If you have paid a deposit via our website and cancel due to reasons other than poor weather or a sudden death your deposit is non refundable. We take our bookings on a first come, first served basis and have to turn a lot of customers away if castles are reserved.

In the event of Dancing Cubs not being able to deliver the inflatable and all accessories and other equipment hired due to circumstances beyond our control such as a traffic accidents, extreme weather conditions or sudden death, all possible attempts will be made to deliver an inflatable or package deal of the same or closest up in size and price at no added cost. Please note that this is not always possible.

Care of our equipment/hired items

Equipment returned in a dirty condition will be subject to a cleaning charge of £30. All units are checked on delivery and your signing below indicates acceptance of the inflatable as being in good, clean condition.

Any repairs needed for damage (however slight) caused to any of our equipment will be paid for in full by the hirer. In the event of irreparable damage, the hirer will pay the full price of the equipment at the time it was purchased, as well as lost earnings while it is being replaced.

We will deliver, set up, pack up and collect our bouncy castles. Only our delivery driver is authorised to collect our inflatable and its accessories and under no circumstances should any of our equipment be handed over to anyone other than our delivery driver(s).

Safe Rules of Play

Following the rules below will help to ensure a fun time for any user of our inflatables.

‘Inflatable’s’ in this instance refers to bouncy castle’s (of any size or type)
‘We’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ refers to Dancing Cubs Children’s Party Entertainment Ltd, its employees, services, inflatables and any other equipment owned by Dancing Cubs.
The hirer refers to the person who has signed this contract and hence taken responsibility for the use of this inflatable.

1. All persons using the equipment must remove their footwear prior to use.
2. The equipment must be supervised at all times by a responsible person over the age of 18.
3. The equipment must not be moved or removed from the position in which our staff members set it up.
4. Children and Adults must not be allowed on any inflatable at the same time.
5. Reckless or boisterous play is strictly forbidden on any of our inflatable’s.
6. No intoxicated person or any person under the influence of prescribed and/or non prescribed drugs and/or any other intoxicating substance can use the equipment or supervise the equipment at any time.
7. Any injured person should receive professional medical assistance within two hours of the event causing the injury, and records of the medical treatment obtained will be made available for our inspection. Please note that this does not signify our acceptance of blame for any injury caused.
8. Climbing, hanging or sitting on the walls is dangerous and must not be allowed. Children who are taller than the walls of any of our bouncy castles are unfortunately not allowed on it.
9. Always ensure that the bouncy castle is not overcrowded and limit numbers according to the ages and sizes of the children using it. Try to avoid large and small children using it at the same time.
10. No pets, toys or sharp objects are allowed on the inflatable.
11. No party poppers, coloured streamers or silly string should be taken, thrown or sprayed onto the equipment, these materials permanently stain the material and the hirer will be liable to compensate us in the event of any damage or stains.
12. If the bouncy castle is not being used for any part of the day, please switch the blower off at the mains. This reduces your electricity bill.
13. Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front safety step of any of our bouncy castles. The step is there to assist children getting on or off the inflatable.
12. Ensure that no one with a history of back or neck problems is allowed on the bouncy castle as indeed any person/ child who is feeling unwell.
13. Do not allow anyone on the bouncy castle during inflation or deflation.
14. The bouncy castle should not be used if it becomes wet in the jumping area. If no shower cover is fitted and in the event of rain, the unit should not be used.
15. In the event of heavy rain, strong wind or other extreme weather, the bouncy castle is to be switched off and all electrical accessories and equipment e.g. bubble machines taken indoors to avoid electrical shock. Please cover the inflatable with the tarpaulin sheet provided.
16. In the event that the blower stops working, please ensure all users get off the inflatable immediately. Check the fuses and make sure the blower tube or deflation tube has not come undone or something has not blown onto and is obstructing the blower. In the event that it overheats or loses power, switch the blower off at the mains, and then switch it back on again 5 minutes later and it should restart. If it does not, inform us straight away.
17. No signs are to be glued to any of our inflatables at any time.
18. The blower is NEVER to be covered with anything!
19. None of our inflatable’s can be left unattended, and if hired overnight, all accessories provided (blower, safety crash mat, electrical extensions) MUST be stored inside incase of light showers and dew.
20. If we have supplied you with a handheld anemometer to measure wind speed, please note that it is the responsibility of the hirer to look after it and return it to us in the undamaged, working condition it is delivered in. Failure to do this will result in a £25 charge to replace the lost or damaged device.


I DECLARE that I have read, understand and agree to these terms and conditions of hire and any relevant operating and safety instructions supplied with the equipment, and I sign the contract fully aware of the implications and responsibilities placed upon me by doing so. By signing I also agree that I am entering into a contract confirming that I am responsible for any loss, damage or injury and that I abide by the above conditions and agree to follow all rules provided above.
