Why plan a children's area at an office party?

Parents are far more likely to come along, and stay, when they know their children have something to do. A play area also gives the party a natural focal point, keeps young children away from catering and drinks, and makes the event feel inclusive for staff with families. It does not need to take over the room: a well-planned corner of a meeting space or reception is often enough.

Soft play for babies and toddlers

  • the size of the space set aside for children
  • the number and ages of children expected
