29 August 2018 - Why you should hire soft play for your baby's birthday party

At Dancing Cubs, our soft play packages are carefully assembled to not only give children a high quality fun experience but also to help encourage babies and young children to exercise at the same time.

This blog post will demonstrate some of the reasons why soft play is one of the best types of play that your children can experience for both fun and health reasons!

Official studies show that when children are at play (in this instance, soft play) it helps their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being as they get older, and assists in helping them develop more confidence.

One other very important benefit that must not be forgotten is that soft play is designed to be safer than other forms of play activity (e.g. outdoor play parks) with a lower risk of injury.

A child with a developed sense of danger and spatial awareness will be more confident about climbing indoor soft play equipment where it is all cushioned especially the landing areas! In addition, climbing, when done in a safe environment, is a very important form of exercise that helps to develop co-ordination and limb strength.

With Dancing Cub’s soft play, ball pools, and foam, it provides a unique challenge to young children that they don’t get anywhere else! And also it helps with their co-ordination”.

Some very young children are nervous about venturing onto a play inflatable (e.g. a bouncy castle) for the first time, because they see other children playing on the inflatable, and sometimes in a boisterous manner. However, with soft play, the other children at play tend to be more calmer and less boisterous which creates more confidence in the very young child.
