This is an obvious question, really. Ball pits and ball ponds are typically used by toddlers and young children, aged from about 10 months old to around ages five or six, and as hard as parents may try, this age range is typically quite messy, with drool, food, sticky fingers, vomit and worse real possibilities in ball pits.

So how do you keep your ball pit balls clean?
Some companies have been known to simply throw soft play balls in the washing machine - perhaps with some disinfectant laundry detergent solution and at a low heat. Less scrupulous companies might simply put these multicoloured balls into the bathtub and rinse them around a little. The Ball Cleaning Machine
This cleaning machine is much more effective than a hose-down with a showerhead or a rinse through the washing machine. It scrubs every ball to remove any debris manually, and then sanitises it with a disinfectant solution. The soft play ball cleaner then rinses the ball and dries it so it can be stored safely and in a sterile environment. Each ball is cleaned individually to ensure a perfect clean every time.
